Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

  • First and last name

  • Other personal data you actively provide, for example by creating a profile on this website, in correspondence, or by phone

  • Location data

  • Data about your activities on our website

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about visitors who are under 16 years of age, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16. We therefore encourage parents to be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent data being collected about children without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us by email and we will delete this information.

  • Sending our newsletter and/or promotional leaflet

  • Being able to call or email you if necessary to carry out our services

  • Informing you about changes to our services and products

  • Delivering goods and services to you

Automated decision-making

De Woestijn does not make decisions based on automated processing that could have (significant) consequences for individuals.

How long we keep personal data

De Woestijn does not keep your personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.

Sharing personal data with third parties

De Woestijn only shares your data with third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

Accessing, correcting or deleting data

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing, to object to the processing of your personal data by De Woestijn, and the right to data portability. This means you can request that we send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or to another organisation named by you.

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer, withdrawal of consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to us by email. To ensure that the request is made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identity document with your request. In this copy, please black out your photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and national identification number. This is to protect your privacy.

We will respond as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

De Woestijn would also like to inform you that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Data Protection Authority. You can do so via the following link.
